This notice describes how VerVida Association applies the principles of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) in our daily work — in our relationship with beneficiaries, volunteers, partners and collaborators.

Principles we follow
We apply the principles set out in Art. 5 GDPR: lawfulness, fairness and transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality, and accountability.
Your rights
We guarantee the rights to information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent by email and are handled within a maximum of 30 days.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data: limited access to information, secure communication channels, protected passwords and controlled backups. In case of a security breach, we will notify the authority and the data subjects, as required by law.
Transfers to third parties
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing. Data may be processed by service providers (e.g. email, hosting, site maintenance) under data-processing agreements compliant with GDPR.
Minors
Activities for children and young people require the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. Minors' data is processed with extra care and only for the purposes for which consent was obtained.
