About us

About VerVida Association

VerVida is a young nonprofit organisation built around a clear desire: to support the people, communities and initiatives that can bring about real change around us.

Although VerVida is a newly established association, our involvement in the community does not start here. Before the legal establishment of the association, the founder and the team were already involved in educational, social and community activities — through church, school, high school, university, volunteering and personal initiatives.

These experiences included activities with children and young people, camps, educational workshops, personal development sessions, support campaigns, eco-actions and community moments. All of them contributed to shaping a clear direction: to continue this involvement in a more organised, responsible and sustainable framework.

VerVida — a vedea viața

The name VerVida brings together two Spanish words: „ver”, meaning to see, and „vida”, meaning life. For us, VerVida means seeing life in its essence and beauty — through childhood, nature, joy, hope and care for people.

Even though VerVida Association works across a wide range — education, social support, environment, animal protection, inclusion and volunteering — all these directions share the same vision: real change asks for a holistic approach, where people, community, nature and animals are seen as parts of the same balance.

The purpose of VerVida

The general purpose of VerVida Association is to contribute to the development of communities, both in rural and urban areas, with a special focus on disadvantaged groups, by supporting vulnerable people and local initiatives, promoting formal and non-formal education, protecting the environment and animals, implementing ecological and social projects, as well as developing educational, cultural and therapeutic programs, in order to build an inclusive, equitable and sustainable society.

General objectives of VerVida Association

To achieve its purpose, VerVida Association pursues the following general objectives:

Identity

Our mission, values and principles

VerVida's mission is to support the development of communities through education, inclusion, solidarity, care for nature and civic engagement, offering real support to children, young people, vulnerable persons and communities in need.

What we set out to do

VerVida Association aims to stand close to the community through educational, social, ecological and inclusive activities, built around the real needs of people. We want to create contexts where children, young people, families, vulnerable persons and local communities can receive support, information, trust and opportunities to grow.

Our work starts from the idea that change is not produced by a single action, but through constant involvement, cooperation and projects that bring together education, solidarity, care for nature and responsibility towards the community.

Below are the concrete directions through which VerVida Association pursues its general objectives — across eight thematic areas, from education and the environment to volunteering and international partnerships.

Specific objectives

Camps, educational centres and learning through experience.

Education and personal development

  • organising educational, cultural, ecological and personal-development camps for children, teenagers and young people;
  • creating and running educational and social centres (including after-school programs) dedicated to children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds;
  • organising workshops, conferences, training sessions, formation courses and programs of non-formal education and community health;
  • producing, publishing and distributing informative and educational materials in print and digital format, to support the Association's activities;
  • promoting learning through direct experience: trips, exchanges of experience, national and international educational visits.

Support VerVida

You can support VerVida by redirecting 3.5% of your income tax through Form D230. It is a simple gesture, with no extra cost for you, that can directly contribute to the development of the association's educational, social, ecological and community projects.

The redirected funds do not go to a private person — they are transferred directly to VerVida and used exclusively for activities and projects in line with the association's purpose.

Through your support, we can build initiatives dedicated to children, young people, vulnerable persons, disadvantaged communities, environmental protection, animal welfare and the inclusion of people with disabilities.

Even a contribution that seems small can help us organise camps, workshops, educational activities, information campaigns, environmental actions and community projects with real impact.

Thank you for your trust, support and involvement. Every redirection helps us carry VerVida's mission forward.

Volunteer

Become a VerVida volunteer

If you want to get involved in the community and contribute to meaningful projects, we invite you to become a VerVida volunteer. We need empathetic, responsible people, willing to offer time, energy and ideas for activities dedicated to children, young people, vulnerable persons, the environment and the community.

As a volunteer, you can take part in camps, workshops, educational activities, information campaigns, eco-actions, community events or social support projects. Every form of involvement counts — whether you can help constantly or only occasionally, depending on your time and availability.

At VerVida, we believe that volunteering is not only about helping others — it is also about learning, friendship, personal development and the joy of being part of a community that builds something good.

Fill in the form and tell us how you would like to get involved. We would love to meet you.

Partnerships and collaborations

VerVida is open to collaborations with people, institutions and organisations that believe in education, inclusion, solidarity, environmental protection and community development.

We want to build partnerships based on trust, transparency and shared goals — through which we can develop projects with real impact for children, young people, vulnerable persons and local communities.

We are open to working with schools, high schools, universities, public institutions, NGOs, companies, specialists, volunteers, sponsors and local communities. Change becomes stronger when resources, experience and the will to act are brought together.

Through partnerships, we aim to develop educational, social, ecological, cultural and community activities, adapted to the real needs of people.

If you represent an institution, an organisation, a company — or simply want to contribute to our projects — get in touch to build a meaningful collaboration together.
